We employ specialist consultant nurses who see patients pre- and post-operatively in the consulting rooms. They spend time with each patient to ensure that they receive the best of care from the first visit, right through until the patient has returned home. A nurse will almost always be present at the initial consultation between patient and surgeon at our rooms, so they are fully informed and aware of a patient's medical history and particular needs.
Our nurses have extensive experience in the area of orthopaedic surgery, so they can answer questions and alleviate concerns regarding surgery. Their expert knowledge in pre- and post-operative care means that everything will run smoothly for the patient. Patients should never hesitate to contact the nurses at our rooms if they have any questions or worries at any time.
Patients will also be cared for by nurses during their hospital stay. We are pleased to say that patients often comment on the high standard of nursing care by the nurses in hospital.
